As you may or may not know already, there is a new debate team in school. Run by Mr Cummings, this team meets every Tuesday lunchtime to debate on different issues, from modern art to feminism. The team consists of a small group of year 9 and 10 students that meet to discuss different issues that affect society as a whole. This team welcomes anybody who wants to express their opinion at one of these debates, so if you have any questions or want to be a part of this team, talk to Mr Cummings in B1 at break and lunchtimes.
On the 20th May, Years 7, 8 and 9 all went on a trip to Bushcraft, an outdoor experience which allowed the students to get a feel of what surviving in the outdoors was like. The students were told to take a diary to write what they did on each day, one Year 7 student wrote an account of what they did:
A Level Results Day will be held in the Main Hall on Thursday 13th August 2015 and GCSE Results Day will be held in the Main Hall on Thursday 20th August 2015. School will open from 9.00am until 12.00pm. If you are unable to collect the results yourself, please send in a stamped addressed envelope (A5 size). Alternatively you may wish to send a relative to collect them on your behalf. If doing this, please ensure you send them with written permission to do so, they will need to sign on your behalf.
