Updated 31st December 2020 - the information below is subject to change so please check back regularly.
Following the updated announcement from the Government on 30th December regarding schools reopening and mass testing, the following arrangements will now take place:
11th January 2021 - (Week 1)
Most pupils must remain at home and will access Remote Learning for this week; except children of key workers and vulnerable pupils.
Year 11 and Year 13 pupils will begin face-to-face learning and must come to school for their normal Week 1 timetabled lessons. Year 11 Mock Exams will take place as planned, however a new timetable will be emailed out to pupils on Monday 4th January so please check your emails.
18th January 2021 - (Week 2)
All pupils will return to school as normal and follow their Week 2 timetables.
Vulnerable children, children of key workers, children with an EHCP
The government guidance also says that vulnerable pupils, children of critical workers, and children with an EHCP should also be given the opportunity to attend school for the week commencing the 4th January 2021. This, however, is parental choice. Please read the Headteacher's original letter for details.
From 4th January 2021, pupils in all years will be able to access Remote Learning through Go4Schools and Google Classroom. Click here to find out more about Remote Learning.
Google Classroom can be accessed through your RM Unify login. There is a user guide to help you with finding your way around. If you have a live virtual lesson with your teacher you will use Google Meet via Google Classroom. There is a user guide for this too.
