10/2/2015 Year 1 and 2 Tri Golf FestivalIt was Tuesday 10th February that over fifty ecstatic year one and two children adventured to King Edward’s sports hall to participate in a variety of fun, enjoyable and action packed tri-golf activities. There were ten activity stations set up including; golf dominoes, zone ball, treasure hunt, target practise and tunnel ball. Each of the stations featured the objective to improve the children’s golf skills.
Twenty five sports leader students from the school dedicated their evening (as well as Mrs Gibbs who organised the evening) to ensure that the children received an unforgettable experience. The children’s satisfaction with the activities is due to the hard work, effort and the team work that the sports leaders and Mrs Gibbs has put into the night. It was evident that the children had enjoyed the golf activities, not only from the beaming smiles but also from the laughter that filled the room. In addition the appreciation from the children was astounding. The cheering and thank you praises continued until the children had left the building. Report by Becki Lowndes Y13 Comments are closed.
